If you have the RPG xTools, you can use the GetSysName() procedure to return
the system name. If not, call the API for Network Attributes others have
suggested. I prefer to use the MATMATR MI instruction which is what xTools'
GetSysName() uses, since it is faster. If speed isn't an issue, the CL
command returns it as well, however you wanted it from within RPG IV.

Hi,

I'm looking for an easy way to get the system name for a report.  Was 
hoping for something like SYSNAME for display files, but don't see anything 
like this for printer files.  Didn't see it in the feedback areas 
either.  I'm drawing a blank, but will be looking for APIs.

Anything out there easier than APIs?
