Angela. I don't believe the 'decimals' would be the issue. It may be an intermediate field that is causing your problem. Could you show us the field definitions and the calc statement where the error is generated. It is a complex equation, which I then push the result to a display field, so to determine the max field size will be difficult, plus I then have to move the 'temp' field to a display field.
