I'd like to think it's an accidental fingers-are-faster-than-the-brain
thing.  Maybe a newbie thing?  Dunno for sure.  For me, it's more of a
problem when searching the archives.  I wonder if there's a way for
David to trap posts that are larger than a certain size.  It would be
hard to imagine that a legitimate post would come near the size of a
typical digest.
