Hi All,
I have a routine I am thinking of converting to SQL instead of using a
series of I/Os to fill a subfile. Here's the code I am currently using:
Rrn = 1;
DoW NOT %EOF(DPKDL_LF) and (Rrn <= 9999);
PARTCLR = PARTCL;
ITOTAL = INHSE + IYARD;
Write KDSDATA;
Read DPKDL_LF;
Rrn = Rrn + 1;
EndDo;
Now I know I need to do something like this to start the SQL statement:
C*
c/exec SQL
c+ select gcalcd, gcalct
c+ from dmdpg_pf
c+ where skdlym = :getskdlym
c+ and skdlym <= :getskdlrrn
c/end-exec
C*
My question is, how do I move the results of this query into a subfile?
In the disk I/O routine above, I use the Write KDSDATA to fill a row in
the subfile. Is there something similar to "DoW NOT %EOF()" for SQL
queries?
Thanks!
Brian.
