        Here is my testing results.

If you are fetching only one row at a time, the null indicator host field
needs to be a standalone DIM()'d field.

D DS_REC  DS
D FLD1
D   ...
D FLDn

D RECIND  S       5I 0  DIM(x)

C+ FETCH ... INTO :DS_REC :RECIND

If you are fetching more than one row then make the null indicator host
field a MODS structure with a sub field DIM()'d appropriately.

D DS_REC  DS            OCCURS(Y)
D FLD1
D   ...
D FLDn

D DS_REC_I DS            OCCURS(Y)
D RECIND         5I 0  DIM(x)

C+ FETCH ... FOR y ROWS INTO :DS_REC :DS_REC_I
