1 - I don't think you can stick the whole read into the %status bif.  That 
would be cool if you could though.
2 - If I put the read immediately under the DOU then if that read fails 
then I'd have to stick a check in there and do a Leave, right?
3 - I suppose I could have two reads.  One right before the iter, and the 
normal one at the end.  (Not counting the pre do loop read.)
