RE: Subfile not updated on a join logical back from the parentupdate

before, did not seen to help.

Could it be anything to do with your activation groups?  

If not, you could try manually closing and opening the file before you
rebuild the subfile - that should have the same effect as ending and
rerunning the program (at least as far as the joined logical file is
concerned).
