I "think" that if you started out at less than 30 for QSECURITY all new 
profiles were automatically granted *ALLOBJ.  Then when you went to a 
higher level it did not automatically take it away.  Then if you got used 
to creating a new user profile (like we do) by WRKUSRPRF an existing one 
and taking option 3 to copy, you continue to propagate the situation. This 
is getting more like a midrange-l / Al Barsa sort of question.

Subfiles were not supported in RPGII.  Now, there might have been a third 
party compiler that ran on S/36 that perhaps emulated this.  We used one 
product, that didn't give us subfiles, but at least gave us CALL, etc 
which did not get added to the S/36 (can you say VASP?) until the AS/400 
came out.  I used to use a LOAD of arrays on the screen and got concerned 
about running out of indicators to use on the screen.
