It will depend on whether the addition of the field forces a change to the
level check value of the file, which I would presume it would given the
change being described.
In that case, unless you set the level check function to *NO when
compiling, you would have re-compile all programs that use the file due to
level check considerations.

Change to Physical File

I need some help on doing a change to a PF. After running CHGPF on the
file with a new field at the end of the file, do I have to re-compile
all the programs that use that file ( both PF and LF) or just the
programs that use the new field?
