I assume you mean Query/400!
to determine the current date as character representation (YYYY-MM-DD) in
Query/400 use the following definition:
CURDATEA Char(Current(Date), ISO)
to select current year and month use the following definition
CURYEARMON substr(curdate, 1, 4) !!
substr(curdate, 6, 2)
assumed your date field is a character field in the format MMDDYYYY,
determine the year and month as follows:
CMPYEARMON substr(MyDate), 5, 4) !!
substr(MyDate), 1, 2)
Now it's easy to select all records with the current year and month:
CMPYEARMON EQ curyearmon
