Is a data area necessary?  Is it already defined in a file, could you use
that?  What is this group name actually for?   When would you put in the
data area?  Is this a constant variable? or will the data area change?  If
it's going to change, why not just code for it in the RPG program?

 be stored in data area. and displayed on all the  display  record formats
or screens.
