1) Probably, immediately after your EXSR CVTDAT, you have a space instead of a "C" for the calculation specification sheet. In old RPG coding, you can't have a space there. This error will cause this: * QRG2001 Severity: 30 Number: 1 Message . . . . : Form-Type entry invalid or out of sequence. Specification ignored. 2) Your routine should be named CVTDAT and not VTDAT. This error will cause this: QRG7018 Severity: 30 Number: 1 Message . . . . : Factor 2 of EXSR does not reference BEGSR. Specification ignored.
