For a window subfile, the window HAS to be "active" before you can

the footer record, so to add the footer you would have to do the following: Write ctl; Write footer; Exfmt ctl;
Shouldn't that be:as follows? Write Ctl; Write footer; Read ctl; Since EXFMT includes a write to the screen, the way you're doing it will write the control record twice, won't it?
