Hi Terri,
I'd replace it with something like
K@FAC = '30';
exsr $100;
if W@GOOD = *blank;
K@FAC = '10';
exsr $100;
if W@GOOD = *blank;
K@FAC = '20';
exsr $100;
if W@GOOD = *blank;
W@GOOD = 'NO';
endif;
endif;
endif;
Or you could make subroutine $100 into a procedure that accepts a single
parm like K@FAC, and returns an indicator value (on=good,off=bad). Then
you could have
W@GOOD = *blank;
if not TestFAC('30')
and not TestFAC('10')
and not TestFAC('20');
W@GOOD = 'NO';
endif;

Hi,
Thanks for the sharp eyes. I missed the missing DO loop. Now a
related question, since I am trying to modernize this program a bit, what
would be the best way to rewrite this?
Just add the DO loop
Change it to a series of IF statements
