Easy answer is you can't. Couple of thoughts: 1) Do you really need to use all the fields from all the files?
The answer to that is no. Outside of the first mentioned file, I really
only needed 1 field for a control break. I didn't need those other DS at
all. So now I have:
Exec SQL Declare MyCursor cursor
for Select i.*,
b.BYCODE
From DMITMMST I
Left Outer Join
DMVDRMST V On i.VNDNR = v.VNDNR
Left Outer Join
DMBYRMST B On v.BUYER = b.BYCODE
Where i.ACREC = 'A'
Order By v.BUYER;
And:
Exec SQL Fetch Next
from MyCursor
into :dmitmmstDS,
:BYCODE;
Isn't this special. <g>
