I usually have my programs:

1) loop through each subfile record
2) when an error is encountered, set 'reverse image' indicator, fill error
message field, update the subfile, save the current RRN
3) exit loop, set the subfile RRN to the saved RRN, redisplay the screen.

I hope this helps. I can go into more detail if it will help.

Frank

Sorry, the specific problem is the position of the cursor on the right
error line.

Subject: Subfile errors

What is the usual way to display error conditions on a subfile
line, where you can have various fields w/ distinct errors?

I am having trouble to display more than one type of error condition.

Thank you,

Phil
