You can sure tell someone who has been around IBM for too many years...they use WAY too many acronyms... :-) I don't know what you just wrote. But maybe the answer is that I am using Mochasoft. Hmmmm. PMB... Personal Mail Box, Private Mail Bag, uh, Police Monitoring Board. Can't find anything that makes and sense... -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of James H H Lampert Sent: Thursday, December 07, 2006 4:08 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: Using the mouse on Green Screen "Turnidge, Dave" <DTurnidge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I have been looking at the possibility of using a mouse click for a subfile on a green screen. Is this possible? I have used MOUBTN(*SLP/*ULD CF16) and it appears to do nothing. Is there something else that is needed?
Depends. What are you using? An InfoWindow II connected to a controller with mouse support? An emulator that has support for PMB? I was able to successfully reassign *SLP to CF16 on a 3489 connected to a "slim" 170. Since I was just running an old test display file in SDA test mode, I was not able to ascertain whether *ULD was successfully assigned to a function key, since SDA wasn't telling me what the AID code was, coming out of the screen. Our emulator would have PMB support, if I had the time, the demand, and a reliable way to exercise it. -- JHHL -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
