Another tack. Probably not what you are looking for but if it is all SQL, just use QM Query (STRQM). I write report in it all the time. If I need to have some form of program logic, I build a work file and use QM Query to print. QM Query is not real sophisticated but it gets the job done most of the time and because it can accept parameters and use any kind of Select statements (Ansi joins, virtual joins, views and subqueries), it makes it much more powerful than WRKQRY. I consider it to be an essential iSeries programmer tool.
