Subject: Re: reading email

Giovanni Perotti recently added POP3 capabilities into the open source
tools on his web site. His is called POP3READ and is code that was given
to the project by Koen Decorte. It's pure RPG solution for reading
e-mail from a POP3 server.

I have also written a POP3 tool in ILE RPG, but I haven't yet decided if
I'm going to release it to the public open source, or what I'm going to
do with it. I was thinking about combining it with my SMTP tool and
adding a "mailapi" section to my web site, similar to the existing
FTPAPI and HTTPAPI sections. Maybe. I don't really want to steal
Koen's thunder, either.
