What is the best method for sorting a subfile in ILE RPG. Can I use QSORT and somehow point to the subfile space?
Not sure about "best", but I did do a benchmark a whole bunch of differentsubfile sorting techniques in System iNEWS (err, at the time it was iSeries NEWS) magazine back in December 2005. If you have a copy of that issue, you might be interested to looking at the performance benchmark differences. QSORT and SORTA were by far the best performing options.
