parameter markers are allowed

If the statement is the same and you're using parameter markers and you just 
want to change the values
of the parameters, you don't need to prepare the statement again. After you 
prepare the statement, you
can use the USING clause of the EXECUTE statement to set the values. There is 
at least one example of
doing this in the SQL Programming book.
