Thats the normal way to do it.

fd is defined as 10i0
ifsfile is 1024a in my version
buff is 8192a

I hope this is correct :)
I copied this from one of my programs, that works (at least it worked the 
last time i used it :) ).
read() is the only function, that needs the pointer adress to read data 
into..
open() just wants the plain filename.
