what I think you need is the following, within debug
WATCH field-name
then press F12
what will happen is that the debug will stop once the value of field-name
CHANGES.
NOTE the CHANGES. If you read a record that the field-name changes from a
value to say 'XXXXXX'
then if the next record is read and the field-name is STILL the same (that
is'XXXXXX') debug will NOT stop.
