Hi,

Qualified is not needed at all. I only added it because the original poster
wanted to work with qualified data structures.

Sometimes you may have files with the same field names. If you want to
define external data structures for those files, you either have to qualify
the data structures or use the prefix keyword to rename the subfields. The
same subfield name (in not qualified data structures) is not allowed.

Hi Birgitta,
Would you please explain why 'qualified' is needed for the external
described file?

Thanks!
