There's a middle ground between Bob and Joe here.  Bob was thinking of a 
BLOB field, not a character field.  But that wouldn't be concerned with 
this keyword anyway.  A video, after all, would be hard to store in a 
character field.  But a BLOB would be quite nice.  And a field that big 
that was character (like storing the contents of "War and Peace" as a 
single field in a database, would probably be a CLOB.  (or datalink or 
...)
And Joe, a field that large would not be defined on a D spec.  It would 
come from a file defined with SQL.  :-)   Any D specs would use LIKE.
