A similar problem does exist on our "old" files (pre-v5r4). If I use DBU RDR
on them, it appears they are all default (regardless of deletion method).


This was a file created on an earlier box, so perhaps some more tests would
satisfy some curiosity. But it wasn't a big deal -- which is in part which
this file isn't journaled to begin with. I was just going to look at the
undeleted contents and was surprised when I couldn't. This box didn't even
have UNDEL2 on it yet.

Maybe the SQL DELETE was a red herring and not related. But when I didn't
get UNDEL2 to "work" after installing it and looking at the file, I pulled
up a few other files (also restored from a previous box) and could see the
contents in them. I jumped to the conclusion it was the SQL DELETE, but it
may not have been.
