Booth, just one thing on this code the statement is garnering a '20' message in
the compile but not getting a clean compile the format is the subfile is this
allowed for a subfile?

C for RRN1 = 1 to %eof(sfl1)

002200 Parameter SFL1 is not valid for built-in function %
%EOF is ignored.

Nope. before, or after (depending on where you want the blank lines),
clear the sfl record and add a FOR loop that will write however many
blank lines that you want.

HI Thank you for greta help earlier. I apologize for the simplicity of the
issue earlier. Perhaps this one is better.

My issue now is, I did create the data entry program. But to me, it would be
slicker, if I just add empty lines in my regular maintenace subfile, which
does Change and Delete very nicely. I currently hang a F6 ket to ADD records.
Now I will then call my new add program or copy the code in.

But why not be able to add blank lines to the existing maintenance program
and let them add?

Are there are special keywords I would need or codes for this?

Thanks, Mike
