Pretty accurate article. You usually don't see articles about RPG in
'other than iSeries mags' that talk about the old stuff, the new
stuff, and the fact that most programmers won't change. The comments
are typical. But...if I was trained as a Java or C++ programmer and
then had to learn RPG/II or RPG/III, I would probably make the same
comments. That being said, I think a Java/C++ programmer could
transition to RPG/IV and ILE with a minimum of difficulty.
