Yes, that's correct.
But you won't be able to cut & paste between Ops-Nav and STRSQL because as vern pointed out, the
statements being run will be using parameter markers.

I developed an early aversion to iSeries navigator (and iSeries Access in general) that I haven't completely overcome yet so I am fairly unfamiliar with how to use the SQL monitoring. Would the navigation be "Databases"-->[System Name]-->SQL Performance Monitors ?

How are folks debugging SQL statements that have hostprogram withare resolved at runtime? is the catch!) in interactive SQL I do get rows returned.
I'd like to "see" what DB2/400 sees when the SQL statement is processed. Any way to do this ?
