None of the files on the system have Share(*Yes). Which means that, if
these two programs had opened the file implicitly (i.e., not been
defined as USROPN), both programs would have still opened the file
(i.e., data path); just never see that since it's under the covers.

Thanks, Buck. I had never given much thought to files being opened
(implicitly or explicitly) before.

Even with SHARE(*YES), program B will still have to OPEN the file to
use it, it just will use the same ODP (Open Data Path) as program A.
