specifications. RPG, when you take out the bad, like subroutines and
globals, is an improved version of C.

Oh pfoo. There's nothing wrong with a subroutine. And global are simply
instance variables for the program. Either can be used or misused. Taking
away features to protect bad programmers just breeds more bad programmers.
