When you are posting a totally new concept or question, please don't
simply click REPLY on an existing message ... by doing this you are
telling the list software (and most mail programs) that the message you
are sending is RELATED to the message you are replying to.
This ends up having your new message show up in the thread of the
original ... when your new message actually has nothing to do with the
original.
A good example of this can be found here:
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200712/threads.html#00360. The new
message, with subject "Chinese characters printing with *SCS but not
with *AFPDS" has nothing to do with "getting system date and system time
", but it appears in the thread as if it did.
