If you do choose to keep contributing to the list (I hope you do), it is
probably worth the time to make sure you are using the terminology
correctly. As Joe mentioned, a lot of people who are very skilled
technically don't always communicate well with other humans. One common
characteristic among very technical people is the inability to get the
gist of what people are saying even if they are imprecise with their
language.
It is also helpful to try to be as precise as possible when posting
questions because many more people will be willing to help if they are
able to quickly discern problem you are having.
