Could very well be.  Chemistry is important, and if one doesn't fit in 
with the rest of the staff...

Fom a technical perspective, when hiring, one has a unique opportunity 
to shape the skill set of one's staff.  One can choose to accentuate the 
skills already present or bring new ones on board.  There's no 'right' 
answer except that which works for the company doing the hiring. 
Tommy's remarks about not flowcharting first, etc. are an excellent 
reminder that different people approach a problem differently, and that 
it pays to think about how the candidate fits into the vision the 
interviewer has of the company tomorrow.
