This code is from Martin Rowe's Progress Meter. How can I change thecode to
FREE?Given Charles' reasonable assumption that there is something called
/END-FREE
C RcdsRead DIV OnePercent P_Percent
C MVR Remainder
/FREE
TotalRecords, I'd just do this:
P_Percent = RcdsRead * 100 / TotalRecords;
Next, I'd like to see what Remainder is being used for. I can't figure
out an easy way to get it because it will be using the remainder rules
for divisors with decimal positions, which hurts my brain a little bit.
But I also can't see a good use for it, except possibly rounding. And
if you want a rounded value, just do this:
eval(h) P_Percent = RcdsRead * 100 / TotalRecords;
