JoeI agree, except that the reference date of 1970 is "standard" for the Java world. The getTimeInMillis function uses 01/01/1970 as its reference date. But as you can see from the other posts, I got around it with a little help from my friends <grin>.
You could change your reference date to 01/01/1980. This would allow your logic to work through 2012.
Or ( of course) later if you need a longer window.
