Beware.  The buffer sCvt should be big enough for all values, including 
room for the null terminator.  I tried setting iCvt to *HIVAL, and the 
result was 8 bytes including the null, "1z141z3.".  A radix of 16 gives 
an 8 byte result for *hival, 9 bytes including the null terminator, 
"ffffffff." .

For those who don't have a prototype for ultoa(), here is one.  (But me, 
I would use cvthc() for radix 16; see the link that David posted.)
