I was just curious when I look at the output it doesn't look like a bar code at all.
Before I tell the operators to be on the lookout for this, is this correct? that is it
will print a barcode on the printer but if you look at the spool on WRKSPLF it shows
as a non barcode text field?

Hello, do you know if that BARCODE keyword works properly with
'mixed'
invoice numbers rather than pure numerics. ours are A123456, etc.
There are many different bar codes, some allow alphabetic characters and
some do not. I probably don't need to remind you to look at the DDS
reference for BARCODE, but you may not know about the Printing Redbooks,
which have a lot of good information on advanced printing topics.

Printing Redbook VI

My advice is to write a very simple bit of DDS and a test HLL program
that sends sample data to your printer. That way you can get used to
how the DDS and printer behave.
