NewString = %triml( OldString : ' 0' );

Note that the second parameter to %triml is blank + zero.

Hello list,

I have a field that is string of 22 positions with a value of 0000317982.
I need to trim the zeros on the left to have only the value of 317982 and
move it to another string field.

I have tried to convert it to numeric but it gives me leading blanks "
317982000000000000".

Any help would be appreciated.
