Have you also looked at RPG-XML (from Aaron Bartell/KrengelTech). It's not
free, unlike the built-in XML* BIF's or Scott's eXpat port, but it's a
better, more flexible, solution, I think (certainly better than XML-INTO
etc., which are horrible and very limited). You can probably download a demo
version from their website.
