If you go to Scott's web site (www.scottklement.com), I think that he has a mailing list on which you can ask questions regarding the API.

Subject: using HTTP API

HI Has anyone ever had issues in using Scott's HTTP API? I am thinking in terms of any network or comm. issues.

I am trying to use code that works for the author that it goes to a web site and gets a file.

For some reason the very same code does not work on my I. I have no idea where to begin to look for the reason for this problem.
