no...i'm saying that using parens on the RRN to chain a subfile doesn't
compile...

I don't follow you... you can't access a subfile by key, so you don't
have a choice -- you have to do it the way Barbara suggests. What am I
missing?

Or, are you saying that you prefer to use the EXCEPT op-code?
