Actually, in some cases, even that is potentially useful: if the trigger ends with LR set, then the lock on the trigger program itself goes away as soon as the triggered file is closed.

However, in the strategy we've chosen to adopt, any explicit file closings, and any SETON LR, would happen only if a flag (probably in a *DTAARA) is set. We already employ a similar strategy for turning "logging" functions on and off.
