Create a "savefile", save your multiformat file to it.
Create a "savefile" in the remote system, ftp to it (binary), restore 
your savefile.

You can create the remote savefile from your ftp session using:
quote rcmd crtsavf   libr/filename
and use quote also for the restore  (it requires more parameters)
