But why on earth would you _want_ to stick with the old IFEQ type  
stuff?  This thread has already demonstrated the inadequacies of the  
old style of coding.  Using expressions doesn't require using /Free it  
can be coded in fixed form if someone is forced to stick with fixed.

e.g.

IF        ( (A = B) or (C = D) )

Is perfectly valid in fixed form - so why not use it and avoid any  
possibility of ambiguity or misinterpretation?
