It's worked for me on our Laser printers here, meaning it looks the same
as highlighted. I think it's definitely worth a try. After all, that's
exactly how even any still yet functioning RPGII programs work that
print bold, IIRC.
Booth's idea was the same as mine, only he said it better. :)

I've done that with impact printers (dot matrix, band, etc.), but I've
never been able to get to work with lasers, inkjets, and such.
