To be fair to Simon, you have asked quite a few questions recently about 
basic language features.   These could have could have been resolved by 
a cursory read of the appropriate page of the RPG reference.

Please consider at least trying to read the documentation first.  If you 
had read the page I referenced about UDS definition and had trouble 
understanding it, no one would mind if you had posted a snippet and said 
"I understand most of this, but I'm having trouble with this bit".
