The best practice would be to merge the program with the subprocedure

I have an expanded copybook precompile at

It allows for copy by line number, so all your subprocedure can be in

Subject: Best practices for using code in a mixed OPM/ILE environment
All -
I have a subprocedure in a service program that I want to use in an
mailingprogram. What is the best practice for doing this?
At this time, I can't convert the OPM program to ILE.
Do I just need to write another RPGIV program which calls the ILE
subprocedure that can be called by the OPM program?
