How do I get the 2 sources to use the same prototype declaration? I can't put a variable in the place of 'MYPGM'.
What exactly gets bound to the calling program with this type of call? Is there any advantage of using the RPG in place of the CLLE > a part from the prototype? In my case, the called program does nothing but pass parameters to another program.

There's no difference between RPGLE and CLLE.
