hi Roy,

There isn't really any setup or tricks to it.  When you change the value 
of a parameter, it'll automatically be changed in the calling program.

So all you have to do is have the caller pass a variable for the 
"returned number" parameter, and then set that parameter to the value 
you want to return.

It's really that simple.
